I made the decision today to take part in both the special group flight from Boston and the group hotel package for 5 days when I get to London. This includes transportation from the airport to the hotel and a full English breakfast each day. Everyone who knows me knows how important breakfast is to me :). Anyway, so it's a burden off my shoulder that I have a flight and a place to live when I get there. I was thinking about doing a hostel for a while, but where I'm going to be by myself flying there and in a hostel, because everyone else is in the hotel, I thought that would be a little bit too much to figure out landing in London in the morning with jet lag and two huge suitcases with a semester's worth of belongings. I will be updating this post with more information on the specifics of the flight, but I will be leaving Logan sometime in the early evening on January 9th and arriving at Heathrow on the morning of January 10th. Should be a fun day forcing myself to stay awake to get rid of jet lag...not. But I'm excited that plans are coming together. Last thing to get in place: VISA!
